Quinceañera Photos at The Creative Chateau | Amy

Quinceañera portraits, what can I say about them? Other than I love everything about them. The tradition, the attire, the family gatherings that come with the celebration, and so on.

For those of you that are not familiar with this tradition, here is a short description:
A “quinceañera” or “quince años” celebration is a tradition carried out for girls in Latin American countries. It is considered to be the transition from childhood into young womanhood. The word comes from the Spanish meaning, quince “fifteen” and años “years”. The ceremony and tradition itself are quite similar to other cultural initiation rites that are carried out throughout the world.

This certain quinceañera celebration is close to my heart. Amy, is a niece of mine. So, I might be a little biased when I say that she is beautiful and she looks like a true princess in her dress. But really, doesn’t she?!

Her celebration was scheduled for earlier this year in March but it had to be rescheduled, like many other celebrations this year, because of COVID-19. Finally, my family was able to get together last weekend and celebrate her and it was such a wonderful time.

Here are my favorite photos from my shoot with her at The Creative Chateau late last year. It was the perfect location to match her princess vibes! Also, the vendors that made this come true are listed at the bottom of this post. They are all amazing at what they do. Enjoy!

Vendors:
